Important news for those planning to upgrade to SAP S/4HANA 2025!

SAP has announced a significant change: the SAPUI5 innovation release model will no longer be applied in new SAP S/4HANA releases.

What changes?

Starting with SAP S/4HANA 2025 FPS00, the system already starts with the long-term maintenance release SAPUI5 (1.136).

This means you will no longer need to wait for FPS01 (Feature Pack Stack 01) to get UI5 stability.

Why is this important?

Previously, many companies postponed their upgrades until FPS01 to avoid two migrations (FPS00 and then FPS01).

Now, with this change, that dependency has been eliminated—simplifying planning and accelerating adoption of the new version.
